Fimat merges UK and US foreign exchange operations

Fimat, the brokerage subsidiary of Société Générale, has merged its foreign exchange operations in the UK and US into a single global unit to make the business more efficient.

Ryan Schiff will head the new unit from Chicago, overseeing trading and risk management. He was previously in charge of Fimat's foreign exchange team in the US.
