Fidelity International, JPMorgan scramble to vaccinate India staff as nation reels from Covid

IHS Markit, Goldman Sachs and Barclays have also said they’re watching their operations in India, a hub for technology, back office and call centre operations that employ thousands

Fidelity International, the $706bn asset manager, is offering to pay for Covid vaccines for its more than 3,000 staff based in India, the latest financial firm to roll out policies for employees as the country buckles under a surge in virus cases.

Fidelity, which has offices in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Noida, has put in place a series of measures to support employees, including payment for in-clinic vaccinations for workers — as well as their spouses and children.
