The UK’s plan to add 600,000 female entrepreneurs by 2030 might be a touch ambitious given current progress.

In 2024, only 2% of investments are going to startups founded by female entrepreneurs, according to a report published by the women-led high-growth enterprise task force on 28 February. The report said that investment firms need to disclose the female investment professionals that they employ to ensure the financial backing of women entrepreneurs.
