City watchdog implores whistleblowers to report ‘serious misconduct’

The plea is part of a new campaign to encourage would-be whistleblowers to speak up

The UK’s top finance watchdog has urged City workers to report any suspected serious misconduct to them.  

The Financial Conduct Authority issued the unusual plea on 24 March as part of a new campaign to encourage would-be whistleblowers in the financial services sector to speak up.
