The Financial Conduct Authority has hit on an “elevator pitch” to show its worth as the markets watchdog presses ahead with an overhaul to its branding.

In June, the regulator awarded communications firm MHP a £90,000 contract to “develop a refreshed brand proposition for the FCA — articulating what we stand for, who our audiences are and what our proposed brand positioning should be”.
