F&C Management has created the new role of head of credit strategy for Philip Hunt, a casualty of the merger between UK fund managers Friends Ivory & Sime and Royal & SunAlliance (RSA) earlier this year.

At F&C, Hunt will report to Patrick Hendrikx, head of global credit, and will work alongside Peter Harvey, head of UK credit.
