EY warns UK staff of job cuts as it trims compensation

EY has told staff in the UK that pay increases will be less generous than in previous years, with redundancies to come amid a tough economic climate and rising costs.

Leaders of the accounting firm’s British business told staff that bonus pools will be smaller this year and split among a limited number of people, while for some teams, bonus pools will be cut in half, people familiar with the matter told the Financial Times.
