Stock exchanges around the world are rushing herd-like to demutualise and risk saturating the market, according to a report published on Monday.

The report by BTA Consulting warned that while demutualisation had been wholeheartedly embraced by the world's exchanges, some could be underestimating the risks and commitments involved in demutualisation.
