Technology has given investors great benefits and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. That was the unanimous verdict reached by participants at last month's Trade Tech conference in Paris.

Summing up the debate, Eli Lederman, global head of electronic trading services at Morgan Stanley, said: "The end game is technology, technology, technology."
