Ex-Millennium portfolio manager’s hedge fund posts 7% gain during debut year

London-based Katamaran Capital’s long and short bets on stock markets have paid off

A hedge fund set up by former Millennium portfolio manager Priya Kodeeswaran has posted a positive return during its first full year of trading.

London-based Katamaran Capital, which began trading on 1 March 2024, gained 7.2% during its first 12 months, according to people familiar with the matter. The hedge fund manages $320m in assets.
