Ex-McKinsey partner hit with securities fraud charges over Goldman Sachs’ acquisition

Puneet Dikshit, charged with two counts of securities fraud, faces up to 20 years in prison on each count

Federal prosecutors in New York charged a former McKinsey partner with securities fraud for allegedly trading insider information related to Goldman Sachs Group’s acquisition of speciality lender GreenSky Inc.

The US attorney’s office in Manhattan on 10 November charged Puneet Dikshit, who is 40-years-old, with two counts of securities fraud. He faces up to 20 years in prison on each count. The Securities and Exchange Commission on 10 November also filed a civil complaint.
