The bulk of staff at a hedge fund start-up launched in late 2011 by two senior ex-Credit Suisse traders has joined Japanese bank Nomura.

Carlo Ramirez and Olivier Garcia, who left Credit Suisse in 2011 to set up a hedge fund, joined Nomura in London earlier this month, according to people close to the situation. Two former colleagues at the fund, Dilbagh Kalsi and Thierry Guilhot, have also joined.
