Mark Burgess, the former deputy global chief investment officer at Columbia Threadneedle, is joining financial public relations firm Tulchan Communications as a senior adviser.

Burgess, who left Threadneedle last year for a career break, will work three days a week for Tulchan advising its clients on engagement with shareholders, particularly on deals and corporate governance issues.
