EVCA tax chief makes regulation vow

The new chairman of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association's tax and legal committee has vowed to renew the trade body's focus on how much regulation is needed in the industry. It comes as the European Commission prepares to draw up a framework for the oversight of Europe's private equity sector before the end of the year.

Fabio Brunelli has been appointed chairman of the committee, replacing Ulf Söderholm, whose two year term as chairman has come to an end.
