Euronext exchanges set to map out their future

Big changes are looming for the national stock markets of France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal

IntercontinentalExchange is just a few regulatory nods away from completing a groundbreaking acquisition of NYSE Euronext – and this is likely to trigger upheaval for Europe’s stock exchange landscape.

The $10.9 billion transatlantic deal is expected to close on November 4 and is awaiting only final approvals from individual European regulatory authorities.
