The European Commission is calling on member states to come to an agreement on draft cryptoasset regulation by this autumn, one of its most senior officials has said.

Member states are “making progress in their negotiations on the draft regulation,” Mairead McGuinness, commissioner for financial stability, financial services and capital markets union, told a virtual conference.
