Equity manager returns to Newton

Equity manager James Harries has returned to London-based Newton Investment Management after just one year at Veritas, the investment boutique, where he ran its global income fund.

Veritas' leaders, Stuart Newton and Charles Richardson, used to run Newton and have attracted several managers from their former firm. Harries is the first to return to his former employer.
