Electra Partners Europe has acquired Oase Wübker, a German garden ponds company, using an all-equity financing package to beat the vendor's tax-driven deadline of December 31.

Oase Wübker has until now been a family-owned company. Germany's tax regime meant the family's tax bill on the sale would have been higher if the deal had been delayed until 2003.
