Electra Investment Trust launches third share buy-back

Electra Investment Trust, the UK investment trust managed by private equity firm Electra Partners, is embarking on a £150m (€234.4m) buy-back of its shares because of market slowdown.

The move to reduce the trust's market capitalisation is partly due to market conditions, under which the trust does not feel able to return maximum value to its shareholders.
