Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management joins $59tn net-zero coalition

New joiners come as major players like Vanguard, Axa and Allianz quit net-zero coalitions amid an anti-ESG backlash in the US

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management and five other fund groups have signed up to the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative, one of the largest industry alliances tackling climate change.

The Swiss investment manager, which is owned by the Rothschild family, has joined 301 signatories with $59tn in assets that have committed to limit global warming to 1.5°C by 2050.
