EDF Trading appoints new head of coal derivatives

EDF Trading Ltd, a unit of EDF SA, has promoted Adrian Wals to head of coal derivatives, replacing Raoul Duysings who has resigned. Wals will take up his position immediately. Wals was a coal trader at EDF Trading after joining the company in 2006. He has also worked as an energy economist at the Office of the Gas and Electricity Markets, the U.K. energy regulator.
