Doughty Hanson, the independent private equity house, has agreed the purchase of LM Glasfiber, the wind turbine blade manufacturer.

Danish-based LM Glasfiber is the dominant supplier of wind turbine blades with a global market share of 47%. The company turned over Dkr 1.9bn (€255m) last year, making a total of 7,200 blades.
