Disney makes ex-Morgan Stanley boss James Gorman chair

Current chair Mark Parker to depart after two years in the role and nine years on Disney’s board

The Walt Disney Company said on 21 October that chair Mark Parker will leave the company after two years in the role and nine years on the media and entertainment giant’s board of directors.

Disney said Parker will be succeeded by James Gorman, who is currently executive chair of Morgan Stanley and joined Disney’s board this year.
