Deutsche nominates former German vice-chancellor to board

Sigmar Gabriel will take over from Jürg Zeltner, the former UBS executive, who stepped down at the end of 2019

Deutsche Bank has nominated former German government minister Sigmar Gabriel to its supervisory board.

Gabriel will take over from Jürg Zeltner, who stepped down from the board at the end of 2019, according to a statement on 24 January. He will stand for election at Deutsche’s annual general meeting in May.
