Deutsche Börse, operator of the Frankfurt stock exchange, is looking at ways to extend its co-operation with Swiss exchange SWX. It comes a year after the German exchange failed in an attempt to take SWX over.

The two exchanges already jointly own the world's largest futures exchange, Eurex.
