Deal helps boost revenues at German exchange group but adds significantly to cost base

Costs at Deutsche Börse rose 25% in the first quarter of 2024 after the German exchange’s acquisition of SimCorp.

Total operating costs were €564.5m in the first three months of the year on the back of spending €3.9bn to acquire the asset management software firm last year.
