Investment banking revenues rose in Europe in the first nine months of the year, but debt capital markets volumes struggled, according to Dealogic figures.

Revenues in Europe have received a boost, rising to $12.9 billion in the first nine months of 2013, up 11% compared with a year earlier, according to Dealogic. Third-quarter revenues totalled $3.8 billion, down 19% on the previous year.
