Houlihan Lokey pushes into sovereign advisory with Lazard hire

Houlihan Lokey has launched a new advisory unit to focus on sovereign entities by hiring a senior dealmaker from Lazard in Paris.

The US-headquartered investment bank, which has been expanding its European operations through acquisitions in recent years, has hired David-Alexandre Gadmer to lead a new sovereign advisory practice, it said in a statement.
