Credit Suisse has appointed an investment solutions director at Threadneedle Investments to head its recently-created European pension solutions group, housed within its asset management business.

Paul Bourdon joins the new London-based unit as managing director, and will devise solutions, including liability-driven investment strategies, for European pension funds.
