Coutts has named ex-Fidelity boss Dame Anne Richards as its next chair, as the private bank continues overhauling its executive team.

Richards will join the NatWest-owned wealth firm later this year subject to regulatory approval. She succeeds Lord Philip Remnant who announced his intention to retire in January, and will continue to serve the firm in an advisory capacity.
