Collins Stewart, whose broking analysts were among the first to identify the extent of Vivendi Universal's financial troubles, have warned that German industrial conglomerate RWE is facing serious problems.

In a note published by its Quest newsletter service, Collins Stewart says: "This is a business that has a record of eating capital and looks like one big bundle of risk. We say sell."
