JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Glencore and Trafigura have been dragged into a row about whether commodities trading firms should be allowed to stockpile raw materials.
The firms, which have significant commodities trading operations as well as warehousing facilities, are facing scrutiny after a UK government committee asked the Office of Fair Trading to examine whether their practices were anti-competitive.
