Commerzbank plugs credit role gap

Commerzbank has hired Eckhard Arndt, a managing director of Standard Bank in London, as global head of credit markets. He plugs a gap left two weeks ago when Michael Staveley quit for "personal reasons" after a five-year stint at the German bank.

Arndt will be in charge of Commerzbank's credit derivative and bond trading, emerging market bonds and banking book businesses.
