Coercive behaviour at City firms still a ‘massive concern’

Finance professionals say they have either witnessed or experienced behaviour such as bullying or intimidation within their organisations

More than half of City professionals have identified bullying or intimidating behaviour in the workplace, but many lack the confidence to report such incidents.

According to a survey by Everyone Matters — a non-profit that seeks to improve workplace culture in financial services — just over 50% of the 221 respondents from across financial services and professional services firms said they had experienced or witnessed coercive behaviour within their organisations.
