Clifford Chance partner pay edges up following US growth

Strong growth in the US and Middle East drove a 9% revenue increase at the Magic Circle law firm

Clifford Chance posted average profit per equity partner of £2.11m for the year ended 30 April, up 3.4% on the £2.04m it reported the previous year.

Revenue at the Magic Circle law firm rose 9% year-on-year to £2.4bn, while partnership profit increased 11% to £944m.
