City lobby warns over euro-clearing shift after Brexit

Moving euro-clearing out of London will increase "systemic risks" while hitting liquidity, the new policy chairman of the City of London Corporation has warned.

Speaking at the Futures Industry Association conference in London today, Catherine McGuinness, chairman of the corporation's policy and resources committee, said the capital is an active hub for euro clearing because "we’re good at it".
