Citigroup has handed its most senior banker in Saudi Arabia a broader remit in the Middle East, as the US bank sharpens its focus on emerging markets.
Citi has named Carmen Haddad vice-chair of its operations in the Middle East, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News. She is currently chief country officer for Citi’s Saudi Arabia operation and will retain that role.
