US market-maker joins rivals in boosting awards at London office

Ken Griffin’s Citadel Securities paid out an average of more than $1m per head at its London office last year, matching chief rival Jane Street as trading firms step up their battle for talent.

The US market-maker distributed $305.9m across 244 staff in 2024, an average of $1.25m each, according to newly published registry filings for its UK-incorporated European subsidiary.
