Chris Ellyatt quits Aberdeen

A man from SWIP will replace the global head of distribution at Aberdeen Asset Management, Financial News has learnt

One of Martin Gilbert's right hand men at Aberdeen Asset Management, Chris Ellyatt, has left the company unexpectedly after nine years during which he has played a leading role integrating the company's many acquisitions.

The departure of Ellyatt, who was global head of distribution and head of global business development, was confirmed by a spokesman for Aberdeen, who said: "Chris has left the company, and we wish him well in the future."
