Tony Trew of Qatar National Bank, has been appointed chief executive at its Ansbacher bank division, replacing Hugh Titcomb from the end of this month.

Ansbacher recently concluded a strategic review of its business. After leading the review and undertaking a restructuring, Titcomb decided to leave for new opportunity. Titcomb has worked since 2003 at Ansbacher, bought by Qatar National for £100m soon afterwards.
