One of JPMorgan's most senior UK investment bankers, with strong ties to the storied stockbroker Cazenove, is calling time on his near 40-year career in the City.

The decision of Laurence Hollingworth, JPMorgan's vice-chairman of equity capital markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to retire was announced in a statement from Liz Myers, the bank's global head of ECM.
