Carlyle’s Peter Clare to retire amid top executive shake-up

Clare joined Carlyle in 1992 and worked his way up the ranks of its corporate private equity business

One of the most senior executives at Carlyle is stepping down amid a major shake-up in the top ranks of the private equity firm.

The US investment giant said that Peter Clare, chief investment officer of corporate private equity and chair of the Americas, will retire from the firm at the end of April this year.
