Carlyle names John Redett as CFO

Redett succeeds Curt Buser, who is retiring from the firm at the end of the year after serving as CFO since 2014

Carlyle has appointed a new chief financial officer in the first senior shake-up under chief executive Harvey Schwartz.

John Redett, who has most recently served as head of global financial services at the US buyout giant, is set to begin the roles of CFO and head of corporate strategy at the start of October.
