Carlyle continues march into Asia

The Carlyle Group has hired a senior capital markets banker to head its South East Asian operations as it bolsters its presence across Asia and the Middle East.

Anand Balasubrahmanyan, formerly chief executive director and head of global capital markets for Morgan Stanley's southeast Asia arm, will lead Carlyle Asia Partners' newly opened Singapore office.
