€102bn French fund manager on lookout for acquisitions

Candriam, the €102 billion Franco-Belgian asset manager owned by New York Life, is on the lookout for bolt-on acquisitions in Europe amid a wave of consolidation in the industry.

The firm, which announced €5.5 billion of net inflows for 2016 in its annual results today, is especially interested in alternative asset specialists in areas such as infrastructure, private equity and private debt.
