The executive chairman of Canary Wharf Group, the company behind the development and management of one of London’s most iconic financial estates, is stepping down.
Sir George Iacobescu plans to hand over responsibility at the company from next month to chief executive Shobi Khan. The 75-year-old businessman will remain chairman of the firm, providing strategic guidance and interacting with external stakeholders.
