The California Public Employees' Retirement System has added Bill Slaton to its board of administration. He was appointed to serve as the local government elected official in the group, one of two seats appointed by Governor Jerry Brown. Slaton is a publicly elected director and current vice president of the Board of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
