Broker role lands JPMorgan plum Wagamama mandate

The US bank will be advising on the takeover of the UK chain of Japanese restaurants

JPMorgan has been handed a key role advising on the takeover of Wagamama, the popular chain of Japanese restaurants in the UK.

The Restaurant Group, which owns the Frankie & Benny’s and Chiquito chains, agreed in late October to take over Wagamama parent Mabel Topco for £357m in cash.
