A former member of Deutsche Bank's oil and gas team is to run the new Edinburgh offices of Bridgewell Securities, the mid-cap UK institutional stockbroker.

Bridgewell's Scottish operation, which opens this week, is to be headed by Al Stanton, an oil analyst who left Deutsche's Edinburgh office three months ago.
