BNP Paribas is asking equities staff to spend more time in the office, as large investment banks increasingly revert to pre-pandemic working patterns.

In a note to employees on 2 September, the French bank asked front office staff within its Exane cash equities unit to spend more time in the office in order to benefit from working more closely together on a regular basis, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
